My attempt at blogging throughout my year of studying abroad in Japan. I am incredibly excited and grateful to have such an amazing opportunity. Although there will likely be tough times ahead, with some optimism, and a little luck as well, I'm sure I'll be able to face those challenges and grow from them!

Oh man. So I want to write about today, but I got home late tonight and I'm seriously so busy/behind on homework! And I need to go to sleep soon! And I'm going to Disney tomorrow! Ahhhh!
Okay so her and her friends were all super nice, like really. The thing is (and this isn't really a bad thing, I never got the feeling that she was trying to convert us) is that the reason she approached me is because she thought it was fate (and as corny as that sounds it was really random that I was at that conbini at the time I was, I'm usually not there at that time) and she was interested if we wanted to go to church (since she thought a lot of American's did) so she invited us to go with them sometime (they also all play volleyball together). Me and one of my friends might actually go sometime just to see what it is like since Christianity is sort of a minority here.
What happened with the stranger who wanted to be your friend?? I wanna know!!
